Minnetonka Schools Presents Winter Music Concerts

From December through February, Winter Music Concerts give the community an opportunity to hear from Minnetonka students, who are ready to showcase their hard work for the enjoyment of their family and friends.

“I am very excited to be able to perform live music for an audience again,” shared Sarah Finn-Sommerfeld, Orchestra Director and teacher at Minnetonka High School. “We missed so many opportunities for connection between families last year. I hope this year families can start reconnecting, and students can feel like they are a part of a larger program encompassing all grades!”

Student musicians have been rehearsing since the beginning of the school year, and have prepared a variety of classical and contemporary pieces for the upcoming concerts.

“I am very proud of the hard work our groups have done this year to grow and get back to a new normal,” Finn-Sommerfeld added. “I am excited to hear all the groups, and hear how that hard work has come together!”

To view all upcoming winter music concerts, a full schedule can be found on our website here.
