The 2026-2027 School Year Parking Permit application process has closed.  We are no longer accepting applications.

Información sobre permisos de aparcamiento

Los estudiantes con permiso de aparcamiento deben cumplir los siguientes requisitos:

• Aparca en el aparcamiento VERDE (lado oeste del MHS) o en la zona reservada para estudiantes del aparcamiento ROJO. 
• Always display your permit with the right side facing out from your rearview mirror.
• No puede vender ni ceder su permiso.
• Los permisos solo son válidos si han sido expedidos por la Oficina de Recursos Estudiantiles. 
• Permits sold to a student are for use by that student only.  All students involved in the purchase and subsequent resale of a permit or using a permit that does not belong to them will be disciplined. 
• La falsificación de permisos puede dar lugar a una multa policial, a la pérdida de los derechos de aparcamiento y/o a la suspensión de dichos derechos. 
• Los estudiantes de segundo curso no pueden tener permisos ni estar en posesión de ellos.
• Students must update Student Resources within 5 days of receiving new license plates or a new vehicle. 

Las infracciones* de estacionamiento incluyen:

• No llevar a la vista el permiso de aparcamiento.
• Parking in the staff lots (purple,orange,blue) or first 11 spaces of each row in the red lot.
• Parking in visitor or volunteer parking -these are marked with signs. 
• Aparcar en el césped, en el bordillo o crear tu propio espacio. Bloquear los pasillos. 
• Parking at Pagel Activity Center- this is separate from MHS. Cars can be ticketed/ towed by Pagel.

*Estas normas se aplican a todos los titulares de permisos.

Se impondrán multas por infracciones de estacionamiento a diario. Si a un estudiante se le ha concedido un permiso de estacionamiento, pero no lo lleva a la vista o está aparcado en un lugar donde no debería, se le impondrán las siguientes sanciones:

• 1 entrada: 11 $
• 2 Ticket - $22
• 3 Ticket - $33 + Parking Detention & email/call home to parents
• 4 Ticket - $44 + All carpool participants Lose Permit for 1 or more weeks

Pase de aparcamiento diario

Si quieres comprar un pase diario, utiliza RevTrak.

• Los pases cuestan 6 dólares al día.
• Los estudiantes pueden comprar hasta tres pases de aparcamiento diarios a la semana.
• Los pases de aparcamiento diarios solo son válidos para aparcar en el aparcamiento INFERIOR, junto al campo de fútbol/domo Einer (marcado en amarillo en el mapa). Aparcar en cualquier otro aparcamiento dará lugar a una multa.
• No es necesario que coloque nada en el coche para identificarlo. Se facilitará a nuestro encargado del aparcamiento su nombre, el número de matrícula y los datos del vehículo que figuran en su compra online.
• Si facilitas datos incorrectos o incompletos sobre el vehículo, podrías recibir una multa.
• Los pases diarios se pueden adquirir los viernes a las 12:00 del mediodía de la semana anterior a la fecha en que se vayan a utilizar.

Infracciones/Multas

Si un estudiante aparca en el campus sin tener un permiso y no ha adquirido un pase de aparcamiento diario, o si aparca en un lugar donde no debería, las tarifas son las siguientes:

• 1 entrada: 22 $
• 2 entradas - 33 $  
• 3 tickets* - $44 +  Boot Car* if necessary ( +$33), Parking Detention & call home to parents
• 4 tickets* - $44 + Your car can be towed at your expense

Coches multados/bloqueo de ruedas

Si te ponen una multa de tráfico, consulta Skyward para ver el importe. Es posible que no aparezca en tu cuenta hasta pasadas 48 horas. Las multas se pueden pagar en persona en la oficina de tesorería o por Internet a través de Skyward/Fee Management.

*If you are repeatedly parking in the MHS lot without a permit, and we do not have your car registered, we may boot it. The removal fee is $30. in addition to any tickets you were issued previously.

**If you repeatedly receive tickets in the MHS lot your car may be towed at your expense.

Información sobre el aparcamiento compartido

For the 2026-2027 school year, we prioritized permit distribution through a pool process. The process is outlined below. The cost for a permit is $330. per carpool.

• Pool 1:    4 licensed Junior or Senior drivers or a combination of the two*
• Pool 2:    3 licensed Junior or Senior drivers or a combination of the two*
• Pool 3:    2 licensed Junior or Senior drivers or a combination of the two*
• Pool 4:    Senior Individual (if available by lottery**) 

*The parking permit process only counts Junior or Senior students with their driver's license as of September 1, 2026 as carpool members for a designated pool. Only students who are full time for both semesters are eligible for a parking permit.  Full time online students are not eligible for permits or to be listed on a carpool. Students who receive a parking permit are not eligible to ride the bus and will be removed from the bus list.

**If available, The lottery will be a random drawing of individual senior applicants corresponding to the number of available spots. Seniors, who choose to apply individually, are not guaranteed a Parking Permit. In previous years, not all seniors who applied received a solo permit.  Juniors are not eligible for solo passes and will be denied.

At MHS, carpooling is the key to success for parking, as we rely on this system to maximize the number of students we can accommodate.  Many of our students are heavily involved in activities and have unique schedules, therefore students that make arrangements to carpool are prioritized as we distribute permits.  We have a limited number of parking spaces and carpooling allows us to optimize the use of our lot. We are unable to prioritize individual permits for students based on schedules, activities, work or living out of district. 

Please note: The Parking Permit is for only 1 vehicle on campus at a time. Take a look at your before and after-school activities so you are able to make your carpool work. If more than one vehicle is needed at MHS, please purchase a Daily Pass ($6.) and park in the lower lot by the Einer Football Field.

The School District does provide transportation based on the criteria and information on the district's transportation website.
